So, what is the Traditional Clean? Where does it sit in the Two-Rock line?

The Traditional Clean is the result of an evolution of the Custom Reverb's clean channel. John Mayer went to Two-Rock and worked on an amp that eventually became the John Mayer Signature. After the limited run of 25 signature amps, the Classic Reverb was introduced as a production version. Later, under the ownership of Premier Builders Guild, Two-Rock released the Crystal which brought the amp back to the original circuit design with a hi-fi aesthetic.
