The Tungsten Crema Wheat is considered one of the finest tweed deluxe amps on the market.  Pure and simple!  It's very dynamic and touch sensitive, so it's really all about your pick attack with this little beauty.  Honestly, very few amps on the market are as responsive as this one, and it truly opens up your playing with the huge range of tones you can attain just from varying how hard you bite into the strings with your pick.

Even though it's based on the much loved "Tweed Deluxe" circuit, Adam Palow of Tungsten has incorporated some of his own genius into the design.  It's not EXACTLY a Fender Tweed Deluxe clone at all, but rather a unique circuit that melds some of the better lower wattage circuits of the era into one amp.  He also uses a pair of Mercury Magnetics transformers that he spec'd specifically for the Crema Wheat.

The Crema Wheat has a substantial amount of clean headroom just by backing off the pick attack.  However, it has no problem breaking up when needed and is plenty loud enough to cut through the mix in live situations.

There are two channels, NORMAL and BRIGHT, and each has a low and high input.  The BRIGHT channel give you a bit more highs, as well as a touch more low end.

If you haven't done so already, you definitely should check out the Greg V Demos by selecting the "VIDEOS" tab above.  They do a very good job of showing how diverse this amp can be.
