Randall Smith started
building his amps back in 1967, easily solidifying Mesa Boogie as the

first boutique amp shop. What started out as a couple guys in a
shed hot-rodding old Fender Bassman circuits has become one of the most
well respected, quality built, amplifier companies in the world.
