NEW 2018 VERSION! This newest version includes the 3-way gain structure switch and all enhancements.

Single Channel, 20 Watt, Little Sister to the Brown Eye 100

The Friedman Pink Taco is a Single Channel, 20 Watt, EL84 Tube based amp with similar British style tones as the BE-100, but in a much small, light weight and portable package. It features a full 3 Band EQ (Bass, Middle & Treble), as well as a Master Volume, Gain Control and three way Gain Structure Toggle Switch. Like most of the Friedman line, this amp cleans up amazingly well just by rolling back the volume knob on your guitar, but of course this amp is known best for its high gain rock tones! It also takes pedals very well and incorporates a transparent series effects loop on the rear panel.

So, what's the difference between this and the Mini Dirty Shirley?  The Pink Taco is a bit more 80's aggressive, while the Mini Dirty Shirley is more of a 60's or 70's classic rock tone.  You could think of the Pink Taco as more of a modded JCM800 tone with the Mini Dirty Shirley being more of a Plexi / Lead tone
