The Fender Custom Shop Postmodern Stratocaster DLX Closet Classic delivers vintage-inspired tone with thoughtful modern refinements. The select sassafras body wears a DLX Closet Classic nitrocellulose lacquer finish, creating the look and feel of a cherished instrument that's been lovingly played for decades.

Three hand-wound Custom Shop El Diablo Strat pickups provide the foundation for this guitar's voice, featuring a reverse-wound, reverse-polarity middle pickup that reduces hum while delivering classic Stratocaster clarity and punch. The Greasebucket tone circuit for the bridge pickup preserves low-end response when rolling off treble, while the traditional control layout offers precise tonal sculpting.

The quartersawn maple neck features a comfortable '63 Strat "C" back shape, topped with a 3a rosewood fingerboard with a modern 9.5"-12" compound radius for enhanced playability. 21 narrow tall frets (6105) offer precise control and smooth bending.
