The Limited Edition Journeyman Relic ’57 Esquire 2-Color Sunburst is a hot-rodded version of this classic ‘secret weapon’ guitar. Celebrating the Fender Custom Shop’s 30th anniversary in style, this guitar is for players who aren’t afraid to reach out and bend the fundamental forces of the universe to their will. Big and warm-sounding, yet retaining authentic Telecaster honk.

The hand-wound Custom Shop ’58 Tele® bridge pickup is connected via Full Throttle Tele wiring, offering a variety of explosive tonal options. In Position One, the pickup is wired straight to the output jack—turbo-charging your sound—while Position Two adds the volume control to the circuit and Position Three offers the traditional volume/tone control scheme. The elegant rosewood neck slightly tempers the traditional Tele twang, adding sultry overtones to its sound.
