About the Lollar handwound pickups in this guitar:

Putting a new twist on an old favorite, the LollarTron is a humbucker-sized pickup that channels the sound of a vintage Filter’Tron. A2 magnets, custom covers, lot’s of attitude!

Starting with a '60s Country Gentleman as a benchmark, Lollar went after the classic rock-a-billy 'bucker tone, adding some Lollar "secret sauce" along the way. The neck pickup is warm and buttery, with a clear, present top end offering sparkle and spank with clarity and punch.

The Special T (bridge) is a higher output version of the Vintage T Series Bridge with a rounder top end, a little more midrange, and more bottom end.  Roll the tone control back a bit and get a somewhat convincing P-90/vintage humbucker tone. Flat pole design with graded Alnico 5 magnets. Vintage style cloth covered lead wire. Wax potted.
