Brian Bio at Humbucker Music
I have
been at Humbucker
Music for three and a half years now. Chances are if you've
contacted us
in
that time we've probably spoken on the phone, or
through
email. My main "duties" if you would call
them
that, are mostly
sales and processing your orders. I enjoy my job immensely
and can say in all honesty it is a pleasure to get speak to so
many different people from all corners of the world on a daily basis.
With so many
great products on the market it is a great time to be in the music
retail industry. As with all of us here at the store I like to collect
as much gear as I can get my hands on and I have owned a lot
over the years.
For
guitars, I must
admit that I am more of a single coil guy (Oh, the irony!). I love
Teles, Strats, any thing with P-90’s and a Gretsch hollow
body thrown in here and there. For amps I love pretty much
everything Dr.Z makes. Right
now I am playing a Maz Jr 18 NR Combo with a Celestion Blue
and G12H30 extension cab (ran closed for extra punch!). I also love Vox
AC30/15’s, mid powered Fenders and Oranges. For years, I was
a “guitar-cord-amp” guy, but in the last year I
have started building a pedal board. I had no idea what was missing!
Right now, a basic layout of my board is:
Guitar - Tuner - Barber Tone Press -
Barber Trifecta Fuzz -
Fulltone OCD - Fulltone Fulldrive 2 -
EHX Worm - EHX
Memory Man
- EHX Holy Grail Plus -
Dr. Z Maz 18 Jr NR 1x12 w/ Alnico
I have to say, I am pretty happy with the layout, but it is really
never finished. Lately I have become pretty enamored with fuzz pedals
and I see a Zvex Fuzz Factory in my future.
Call anytime, I
always enjoy chatting about gear. I can be found in the shop almost any
day of the week. Otherwise I am on the golf course, and prefer you
would not call me there (unless you have an important fuzz / Dr.Z
/ Orange / Delay / Compressor question). Actually call
anytime!
