Rivolta Mondata XVIII Guitar, Laguna Blue
The Rivolta Mondata XVIII Guitar is essentially the same as the VIII with the addition of a Bigsby B-50 Tremolo.
The Mondata continues the Dennis Fano tradition of offering fresh takes on classic guitars with this offset design, incorporating elements of the Fano JM6 and the classic non-reverse Firebird. It's constructed using a chambered mahogany body paired with a set maple neck and pao ferro fingerboard. Both the body and neck are bound and the fingerboard features vintage pearloid moto block inlays.
The triple Fumante Mini-Humbuckers deliver a clear, punchy tone. Kind of like very fat single coils. The super versatile switching system gives you a variety of tones from the various pickup configurations using a two switch configuration. This double switching system includes a selector switch for the bridge and neck pickups, and a mode switch. The mode switch has 3 positions:
"Standard" (toggle down: no middle pickup, only bridge and/or neck pickup, selected via upper toggle)
"Combo" (toggle in the middle: middle pickup + bridge and/or neck pickup, selected via upper toggle)
"Override" (toggle up: middle pickup only, upper toggle bypassed)
