Rivolta Combinata VII Guitar, Autunno Burst
- DESCRIPTION
The Rivolta Combinata VII Guitar is the evolution of a design with which followers of Dennis Fano (creator of Fano Guitars, and now Novo Guitars) should be very familiar.
Taking his original inspiration from the 1954 Combo model electric guitar, Dennis Fano created his celebrated RB6 prototype in 2006 which retained the Combo's small body size and featured a single P90 pickup, 6 in-line tuners and a German carve that extended from the upper horn to under the leading edge of the pickguard. Almost a decade later, the Combinata is the latest re-imagining of this design by Dennis Fano. Featuring an enlarged, offset body design, the Combinata feels more ergonomic than Fano's previous design and the addition of a chambered body and full German carve create a more substantial feel, while keeping the instrument weight to a minimum. The full width block perloid inlays hark back to guitars of the 60's and add yet more retro flavor to the design and the addition of a second P90 in the neck adds more tonal versatility.
