The Morgan RCA35 may be smaller in size, but the same certainly can't be said about its tone. This amp has few rivals when it comes to "big bottle" American amps. At 35 watts it's the perfect amount of power for both the studio and stage. When played clean, the tones are chimey and rich with plenty of sufficient headroom, making the RCA35 a wonderful pedal platform amplifier. When pushed into overdrive, its warm and amazingly touch sensitive. With the use of the master volume the amp can be set up for that perfect "edge of breakup" sound that so many players are chasing with their amps.
In its stock configuration, the RCA35 ships with 5881 power tubes (which is our preference here at Humbucker Music), but you can substitute 6V6, 6L6, KT66, and even KT77 power tubes to suit your desires or needs.
