Why are there no Studio Pro 22's in stock???

That's a really good question!

As of January 1st 2015, the 22 watt Studio Pro models had a manufacturer's price increase which made them the same price as the 35 watt models. Though we definitely understand the reason for this as both amps cost about the same to manufacture, the 35 watt models have always been more popular among our customers. Honestly, the Studio Pro 35 is considered by many of us here at the shop to be one of the best sounding amps that we sell. That is not to take anything away from the 22 watt models. They are great sounding amps! We have just found that more folks like the sound of the 6L6's and increased headroom on the 35 watt models a little better than the 22. Now that both models are the same price we have seen even more customers opting to go with the 35 watt model over the 22. For this reason we have decided to only stock the 22 watt models as a special order as opposed to store stock like the other models.

If you would like to order a Studio Pro 22 please don't hesitate to let us know. We will be more than happy to order it for you.

Best described as a "portable" Classic Reverb/Custom Clean hybrid, the Studio Pro offers ample clean headroom, dynamics, and a variety of tone shaping options. Two-Rock has added a pickup loading feature, which optimizes pickup balance between single coil and humbuckers. Their stellar reverb circuit with send and return controls, contour control, and full buffered effects loop are standard on this amp.

The new Pickup Loading feature control has 5 settings. In the first position (fully counterclockwise), there is no additional pickup loading, with 4 additional settings available. Fully clockwise(last position) is full loading. Loading the guitar pickup(s) to varying degrees changes the impedance relationship between the pickup and the amplifier's first gain stage. Loading reduces inductive "ringing" in the pickup coils. The effect is a more controlled high frequency response and a reduction in high frequency artifacts produced when a pickup's magnets and coils feed back with each other, usually at or near the pickup's saturation point. The damping effect will also reduce the gain, which is normal.Tonally speaking, reducing these artifacts results in a cleaner waveform and an apparent lack of harshness in the upper frequencies.
