We at Humbucker Music first fell in love with K-Line guitars when we played them at a Nashville Amp show. We immediately expressed our interest in becoming a dealer.
K-Line Custom Guitars are hand built and finished by Chris Kroenlein in St. Louis.
He doesn't employ a team of builders ("not that there's anything wrong with that"), rather each guitar is constructed from beginning to end only
by Chris. He uses wood that he hand selects for optimal resonance and response, which he then mills and shapes for its application. These are not parts guitars at all. Each guitar starts out with a plank of wood for the body, a blank for the neck until it is CNC’ed to spec. Each neck has hand-rolled fretboard edges with a thin silky finish giving them that vintage look and feel. These necks are then matched to each body to maximize the tone and produce optimal
resonance. This practice is what separates K-Line from other guitars you'll find at twice the
price.
