John

My name is John and I have been working at Humbucker Music for over 3 years now. I have worked and still do work in almost every aspect of the store, from Sales to Web Editing and even the Warehouse. So if you have called before there is a pretty good chance that we have spoken at least one time or another.
 
I’m a pretty laid back and easy going guy. I guess that’s why I get called “The Hippie” around here…. Even though I obviously am not. I mean just because I wear sandals almost everyday of the year doesn’t make me a …… Sorry...  I’ll try not to rant… But anyway I’ve been playing music for about 15 years now and I have no plans to stop anytime soon. It’s part of who I am and always will be. My favorite band is Wilco but I’ve been known to listen to anything from Western Swing to Heavy Metal… If it catches my ear I’ll listen.
 
The gear I’m currently using is a Telecaster with No Caster Pickups, Stratocaster with Texas Specials, a multitude of pedals including a Diamond Compressor  -  Fulltone OCD  -  Fulltone Fulldrive 2 , an Xotic RC booster,  Diamond Memory Lane 2 SFG edition, and a  Dr. Scientist Reverberator.   Last but not least, I run it all through my Dr. Z Maz 38 Non Reverb Head with an Orange 2x12 Cab.

I’ve also owned quite a bit of other great gear over the years including other Dr. Z amps, Orange amps, Fender amps, Guitars and more pedals than I can count. I am also a drummer and home recorder so my list of gear could go on a bit longer.
