Nash Strat Guitars

Nash Guitars is the largest independent builder of aged Fender Stratocaster inspired instruments in the world. Bill Nash has worked tirelessly to encompass the vibe, tone, and detailed nuance of a real, loved, and regularly played vintage Strat. Utilizing premium components like 6105 frets, CTS pots and Sprague Orange Drop capacitors, these guitars are truly great playing and sounding instruments. Available in Ash or Alder and using vintage inspired Lollar pickups, these guitars sound amazing and are built for a lifetime of playing. Various degrees of aging are applied to the Nitrocellulose finish making each guitar unique and completing the overall vintage vibe of each guitar.

The Nash Strat body models that we have here include the S-57, and S-63.  If you want to know more about each model, check down at the bottom of this page.  We have more info there.

The Nash Strat body models are as follows:

S-57 - This model is Nash's take on the 1957 Fender Stratocaster..  The neck will always be maple, and the body typically comes with an Alder body, but Ash can be specified.  You can choose from all the classic colors, and several pickguards.  Upgrades include humbucker in the bridge position, HSH pickup configuration, matching headstock, Boat Neck profile, and a Hardtail..

S-63 - With the exception of having an 11 screw pickguard as opposed to the 8 screw pickguard, The S-63 is exactly the same guitar as the S-57, except with more options.  You can get a Maple or Rosewood fretboard, and all the colors and options are available.

All Nash Strats include the following features:

Rolled Edges
21 Frets
Single Adjustment Truss Rod w/ Heel Adjust
Medium C Neck - 10" Radius

Pickups:

Typically, on all our Nash Strat guitars, we use Lollar Dirty Blonde pickups. The Lollar Dirty Blonde Strat pickup set features Vintage Blonde pickups in the neck and middle, but with the Special S Bridge substituted for a thicker bridge tone with a bit more output.

The Lollar Vintage Blonde Strat style pickups are bright but smooth. Scooped midrange, full bass with smooth attack, medium low output sounds glassy, chimey, spanky. Play soft and get round, smooth tone; hit it hard and the attack and treble will come forward in the mix. Works well with overdrives.  Alnico 2 flat poles, scattered wound, wax potted coils. Vintage style cloth covered lead wire. Middle is RWRP for humbucking operation in positions 2 and 4.

The Special S Series Bridge offers a higher output Strat pickup design with a deep thick tone, round highs, and smooth bottom that approaches a "Gibsonish" attack and sustain. Less quack than others.  Output is noticeably higher and will break up most amps a little faster and harder than typical Strat pickups. Vintage style cloth covered lead wire.
