The Black Arts Toneworks Pharaoh is a very versatile pedal with tones ranging any where from a clean boost to a defined overdrive. But where the Pharaoh really shines is in giving your clean amplifier a great open fuzz tone!
With the dual tone control design and tone circuit you retain the characteristics of your guitar and pickups with no loss in volume. And with the specific designed capacitors that allow all frequencies to pass, none of your sound is left behind. The fuzz control alters the amount that the pedal clips, which will give anywhere from a clean boost all the way to a uncontrollable amount of drive and feedback, and everything in between. The Hi / Low toggle switch even furthers your tonal options by changing your input.. increasing your headroom (LO input) or increasing the amount the pedal clips (HIGH input). The three-way toggle switch switches between three separate diodes (germanium, no diodes, and silicon) to add even more versatility to this already versatile pedal.
