*BLOWOUT PRICE!*
The Stone Pony has the 65 -"Bump" frontend circuit like the Soho and Monterrey, but runs on 7591's like the old Ampegs from the 60's. They have a very unique and cool sound.
They've optimized the transformers for 7591's with the guys at Mercury Magnetics and nailed the old 7591 format only with a much enhanced vocablulary. It has a very pleasant and pronounced mid-range notch that is instantly recognizable and VERY friendly!
Features the "Master Voltage" knob on it that will reduce the B+ voltage and output in the amp in an unique way. It's unique in that it keeps the internal tube relationships perfect while keeping the filament voltage up. Seeing all other power schemes' shortcomings, 65 has come at this from a different angle and we're very pleased with the results. You can dial this amp down to 3 watts output WITHOUT losing tone, feel, vocabulary, authority, etc.
